Responding through this web site is for accreditation only and does not necessarily ensure that the credentials requested will be automatically granted. The Viking Classic will honor working requests by recognized media outlets. Freelance requests will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Space in the Media Center is limited. All credential requests are subject to review by the PGA TOUR. Once your request has been received and approved, you will be mailed a one-day media voucher that will give you access to the Media Center, where you will pick up your credentials. All credentials must be picked up at the Media Center during tournament week. No credentials will be mailed. Media Credential Eligibility Media credentials will be issued only to full-time personnel of recognized daily and local weekly newspapers, news services, publications that regularly cover golf, national radio and television networks, and local radio and television stations. Since only working credentials are issued, please do not request credentials for employees who will not be directly involved with the coverage of the event. The PGA TOUR’s media credential requirements for 2007 call for mandatory photo ID credentials for those media members who will be: 1. Interviewing players in the Media Center or on the golf course 2. Shooting video or taking photographs of players on the driving range or inside the ropes PGA TOUR Media Officials will still issue photo armbands on a day-by-day basis during tournament week. All media members parking in the media lot must have the proper parking permit or face the possibility of having their vehicle towed. Registration for media credentials will begin in August.
